About The Position

I. Position Summary: The Employee Health Nurse endeavors to promote health and safety to all employees by facilitating an Employee Health Program which includes disease detection, health issues trending, prevention, and suggestions for treatment. Reporting and documenting employee illnesses and injuries occurring in the workplace. Conducting employee health screenings for new hires and annual employee physicals. Monitoring accidents, occurrences and issues to promote a safe work environment. Alternate point of contact for initial Workman’s Compensation issues in the initial stages. II. Qualifications: A. Education & Training: Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing. B. Experience: One (1) year clinical nursing experience. C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current US state LPN license with authorization to practice in the state of GA. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Utilizes a variety of medical supplies and equipment in the process of conducting employment evaluations. Also utilizes a wide variety of office supplies in the completion of daily administrative tasks. Working knowledge of Worker's Compensation rules and regulations. Requirements
