We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Wellness LPN to join our Assisted Living team for a 12-hour day shift. This role offers a flexible schedule working one shift per week with alternating Sunday and Monday coverage. Schedule: 12-hour shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM 1 day per week Alternating Sunday and Monday Weekend shift differential available What You’ll Do: As an LPN at Ginger Cove, you will play a key role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maryland
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- 2+ years of nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and support caregiving staff
- Basic computer and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors or assisted living communities is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing assessments and clinical oversight for residents
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor resident health and report changes to physicians and leadership
- Review and maintain resident charts and documentation
- Assist with care planning and service plan updates
- Support infection control and quality assurance programs
- Provide clinical guidance to caregiving staff
- Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers
