About The Position

Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Beavercreek is "Now Hiring" a Entry Level Lube Technician! As a Lube Technician, you’ll be part of the dealership’s service team responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and basic service work to help keep customer vehicles operating safely and efficiently. This is typically an entry-level automotive service role.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
• Must read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
• Experience as a lube technician or prepared to do on-the-job training.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine oil and filter changes to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids (engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, power steering, washer fluid).
• Lubricate moving parts (chassis components, wheel bearings) to prevent wear and corrosion.
• Rotate and balance tires to encourage even tread wear when required.
• Inspect tires for proper pressure and inflate as needed.
• Replace air, cabin, fuel, and oil filters as needed.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report any concerns or recommended work to Service Advisors.
• Notify service advisors when service cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and account for dealership tools.
