About The Position

Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Beavercreek is "Now Hiring" a Hyundai Master Technician! A Master Technician at a Hyundai dealership is a highly experienced automotive technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles — especially complex issues — while ensuring work meets both Hyundai factory standards and dealership expectations. A Master Technician often acts as a technical leader in the service department. Accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems — including engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, suspension, brakes, and hybrid/electric systems — often with minimal supervision. Perform routine and advanced maintenance according to Hyundai specifications using diagnostic tools and factory procedures. Test-drive vehicles and inspect components to ensure repairs and maintenance are correctly completed. Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate diagnostic findings, estimated repair needs, and time requirements to customers and staff. Document all repair work clearly and accurately in repair orders and digital records. Work efficiently with dealership parts department to obtain correct parts and ensure timely repairs. Stay current with Hyundai technical bulletins, tools, and training to maintain expertise with the latest vehicle technologies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive education preferred.
  • Automotive service experience — often several years as a B-level or equivalent technician prior to Master level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnostics, complex repairs, and factory procedures.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively working with service advisors, parts staff, and occasionally customers.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certifications (especially Master Technician or manufacturer-specific Hyundai/Kia certifications) are highly desired.
