As the Business Integration Manager, you will lead the integration of acquired companies, ensuring a seamless transition across systems, processes, teams, and cultures. You will play a critical role in minimizing disruption and aligning acquired businesses with our operating model to support long-term success.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree; MBA desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory services, or a related industry, with a strong track-record of merger and integration success.
  • Experience in the wealth management industry, ideally within a growth‑oriented, change‑driven, or integration-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of the M&A lifecycle, including due‑diligence, integration planning, and post‑close operational alignment.
  • Advanced analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable integration plans, mitigation strategies, and operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, navigate, and resolve sensitive issues related to people, processes, data, and systems during an integration.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence, align, and support stakeholders across all levels of the organization and across acquired firms.
  • Strategic, systems-oriented thinker with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and drive accountability for deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with consistent follow‑through and the ability to manage multiple integration workstreams concurrently.
  • Strong project management experience required; familiarity with PM tools (Smartsheet, Confluence)
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Experience coordinating system migrations and managing IT/vendor deliverables preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full end‑to‑end integration plan, including pre‑close due‑diligence activities, workstream coordination, and post‑close execution.
  • Leverage Integration Management Office (IMO) templates and playbooks to develop detailed integration plans that include timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and resource needs.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to enhance and maintain IMO templates, standards, and integration playbooks.
  • Identify, document, and track integration risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies and implement appropriate corrective actions in collaboration with functional leaders.
  • Track and manage system migration workstreams, ensuring IT and vendor deliverables are met on schedule.
  • Coordinate with technology teams, vendors, and internal SMEs to minimize disruption to advisors, clients, and operational staff.
  • In collaboration with the BA and functional stakeholders, ensure key optimization opportunities are identified, prioritized, and addressed during integration.
  • Partner with the IMO team to align acquired firm processes with Bluespring’s target operating model and standards.
  • Collaborate with partner firms to ensure successful execution of all integration-related training and communication plans.
  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance, support, and updates to stakeholders across acquired firms and shared services teams.
  • Manage all assigned integration projects, ensuring key milestones, deliverables, and cross‑functional commitments are completed on schedule.
  • Provide structured input into bi‑weekly IMO status reporting, including progress updates, risk escalations, and milestone tracking.
  • Track progress across assigned workstreams, identify roadblocks, and escalate issues proactively.
  • Maintain consistent follow‑through and communication to drive accountability across all integration participants.
