Requirements

  • Has a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience (1–3 months preferred).
  • Is detail-oriented and comfortable using measurement tools.
  • Can read and comprehend technical documents and work orders.
  • Is committed to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Works well in a team environment and communicates effectively.
  • Is adaptable to changing priorities and open to learning new processes.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a positive attitude.
  • Is willing to grow and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up CNC lathes, PLC/CNC secondary machines, Press Brake, Shear, and hot machines.
  • Perform full machine setups (controller length, payoff speed, cutter, benders, dump tray, Z‑center).
  • Monitor machines for defects or malfunctions and perform minor maintenance.
  • Assist Finishers with shearing panels, bending edges, and pouring Polyamide.
  • Perform assembly, finishing, vibratory, packaging, and material‑handling tasks.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Conduct wire bend tests and measure product dimensions using calipers and tape measures.
  • Check twists, bow, curve, edges, length, spans, belt tightness, sponge, pitch, and parallel alignment.
  • Read manufacturing orders and calculate spec cards accurately.
  • Move finished product stacks to designated areas.
  • Support team members and help where needed to keep production running smoothly.
  • Use computers to close out and reprint manufacturing orders.
  • Follow ISO work instructions after training and sign‑off.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 6S principles.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and adjust schedule as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive team environment.
