About The Position

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate manual milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools. Operate conventional mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and grinders Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to create production tooling Complete set-ups and operate equipment with minimal supervisions/assistance Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining. Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and other measuring devices. Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances and meet quality standards. Troubleshoot machining issues, including tool wear, material inconsistencies, and programming errors. Maintain accurate production records, including job travelers, inspection reports, and equipment logs. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure safe, reliable operation. Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes. Comply with all safety standards, company policies, and ISO/AS quality requirements. Minimum 5 years of prototype and tolling experience or evidence of mastery Proficiency with machining math, including geometry and trigonometry. Ability to use precision measurement tools with a high degree of accuracy. Requirements
