About The Position
HAC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Courier / Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering interoffice mail, supplies, marketing materials, and other items to various store locations in a company vehicle. The ideal candidate is comfortable with long-distance driving, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in delivering excellent internal service.
Requirements
- Must be available to work Wednesdays and Thursdays (holidays may vary)
- Able to drive for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Successfully pass a background check
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in mailroom, logistics, delivery, or courier roles
- Familiarity with delivery route planning and basic vehicle maintenance
Responsibilities
- Load and unload mailbags, supply orders, marketing materials, and other items into a mid-sized cargo van
- Package and sort outgoing mail and fulfillment orders into designated store mailbags
- Pick up and return interoffice mail and any undeliverable items
- Maintain accurate delivery records and mileage logs
- Monitor basic upkeep on the delivery vehicle
- Follow scheduled delivery routes while adhering to company safety protocols
