About The Position

Prepares mail for Post Office. Picks up and delivers mail and packages to branches and departments in a timely manner. Sorts and distributes interoffice mail. Acts as general supply, repair, and errand person.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including educational/preparatory experience.
  • A high school degree or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
  • Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications generally require shorter and not in-depth discussions.
  • Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle independently.
  • Must be able to travel independently via automobile and operate general office equipment including calculator/10-key, photocopy machine, CRT terminal, and telephone.

Responsibilities

  • Makes daily pickups and deliveries to all branches and U. S. Post Office. Operates Credit Union Vehicles with attention to safety and laws of the roadway.
  • Verify incoming supply and equipment orders against purchase documentation and accurately record receipt in Workday. Ensure discrepancies are reported promptly and maintain accurate logs for all received items.
  • Maintains all aspects of internal document storage system including, storing, retrieving, delivering, and destroying documents from storage upon request. Maintain document storage logs for all documents located in internal storage.
  • Maintains cleanliness of mail/storage areas to prescribed standards set by supervisor.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
