About The Position

Since the doors opened in 1972, our Atlanta factory has grown dramatically into a state-of-the-art facility. As a HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing plant-wide HVAC systems, boiler room operations, and electrical and mechanical devices. You will troubleshoot equipment, operate shop equipment, and repair equipment with minimal supervision. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will handle projects that span electrical, mechanical and automation maintenance challenges. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of HVAC experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment OR a 2-year technical degree

Nice To Haves

Universal Refrigerant license EPA 608 preferred
Must be willing to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities

Trouble shoot and repair plant wide HVAC, boiler room systems and operation
Work safely at all times, following safety policies and procedures and attending safety meetings.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical reasons for failure
Lay out and fabricate simple duct work
Work on new mechanical installation from design to completion
Properly select and install plant approved insulation materials
Perform special welding applications such as alloy or thin metal welding
