About The Position

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly. Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces. Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs. Follow proper procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants. Report safety hazards, damages, or repair needs to supervisors. Follow company safety policies and cleaning schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not always required.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
