About The Position

If you’re the kind of person who hears a weird noise and needs to figure out what’s causing it, or if your toolbox is more organized than your closet, we need you! At Kdc/one, we’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic. You will keep our machines running and turn them into top performing equipment while also building up the people running them too.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED + technical training (+college credits = a major plus)
• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA/GMP)
• Deep knowledge of pneumatics, drives, conveyors, pumps, and basic electrical systems
• Familiarity with CMMS, LEAN tools, and root cause analysis
• The ability to lead, teach, and improve systems
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs., and being active around powered equipment, forklifts
• You should be proficient in: Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems Motor Replacement/Repair/Maintenance Electrical Troubleshooting Pneumatics Troubleshooting Maintenance and Repair Skills Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Mechanical Systems & Component Repair

Responsibilities

• Fix, identify root causes, replace parts, and get lines back up fast
• Keep our equipment tuned and ready for each shift through smart, preventive maintenance
• Act as a coach and mentor by assisting Line Leaders and Operators to build their maintenance skills
• Translating OEM material into practical, real-world standards that work
• Drive process improvement by reducing downtime, improve changeovers, and push for better OEE
• Join daily shift huddles to prioritize tasks and make smart, efficient decisions
• Track performance, lead improvement events, and take accountability in your results
• Maintain tools and parts inventory professionally, and document work in SAP and SOPs
• Contribute to a safety-first culture that we enforce every shift
