About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on industrial and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant equipment including extruders, molding presses, conveyors, compressors, and pumps. Complete work orders, inspections, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Support equipment fabrication, installation, and modification projects. Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance areas. Assist with facility systems such as electrical, plumbing, and hazardous waste handling. Safely operate welding, drilling, grinding, and other metalworking tools. Support seasonal facility tasks, including snow and ice removal. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or degree is a plus.
  • Min. 2 years of maintenance experience for Mechanic I and 5+ years of experience required for Mechanic II.  Candidates should have experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
  • Basic welding, plumbing, and electrical skills.
  • SAP work order and notification experience preferred
  • Industrial automation controls experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and hazardous materials handling.
  • Arkansas High-Pressure Boiler Operator License preferred
  • Forklift experience/certification.
  • Computer literacy and basic math skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotation.
  • Ability to meet physical and fitness-for-duty requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP work order and notification experience preferred
  • Industrial automation controls experience preferred
  • Arkansas High-Pressure Boiler Operator License preferred
