Maintenance Planner/Scheduler - JLL What this job involves: The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role is in support of the JLL Asset Management journey towards a World Class Maintenance organization. This industry standard role provides more efficient means of managing facilities maintenance and associated maintenance labor, freeing hours for additional business priorities. Planning & scheduling for all maintenance and operations encompassed in the CMMS tool are to be conducted using current CMMS system application and standardized business processes. What the day to day will look like: Subject matter expert in commercial HVAC equipment with comprehensive knowledge of facilities planning, scheduling, and code compliance requirements for 24/7/365 GMP manufacturing environments. Plans, schedules, and coordinates all HVAC maintenance and corrective activities for internal teams and third-party vendors using industry and client best practices. Manages CMMS database integrity by maintaining compliance with client standards, creating ad hoc reports, writing advanced queries and dashboards, and conducting periodic data auditing. Collaborates with subcontractors to obtain detailed quotes, verifies contract accuracy, and ensures all purchase orders are approved before work scheduling. Oversees asset maintenance parts ordering process (MRO), tracks asset information including spare parts and documentation, and creates all asset-related purchase requisitions. Facilitates daily team huddles and operations meetings to communicate maintenance schedules, identify unscheduled work, and collaborate with planners and technicians to meet KPI metrics. Provides leadership through training, presentations, and teambuilding while managing multiple concurrent maintenance activities and projects with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Communicates effectively across all management levels and diverse customer base, including technical and non-technical personnel, using strong verbal and written skills. Drives continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes through maintenance metrics analysis, work order flow review, and optimization of maintenance programs with operations team. Ensures adherence to all JLL and client safety protocols, environmental health and safety programs, code compliance, and training requirements for all team members and vendor partners.

Requirements

  • Field experience in HVAC, or undergraduate degree in business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years direct experience in operational, and customer service.
  • Strong technical knowledge of scheduling software, procurement systems, CMMS, databases, Microsoft Office programs, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate well in verbal and written reports.
  • Strong organization skills and collaborative approach

Nice To Haves

  • Technical knowledge of EAMS CMMS and MRO system.
