About The Position

This role will be located at McComb, Ohio facility where we produce cookies and crackers for various customers. It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Planner to efficiently plan the scheduled work and request line availability to accomplish repairs with available maintenance staffing and hours. This part of the role is very time sensitive as it directly impacts plant functionality and schedule. This role is also responsible for outside contracted scheduled quality compliance testing, validation, and reporting. Additionally, maintaining the CMMS system with proper information, proper part stocking levels, PM documentation and procedures, and project details and reporting. Job Scope: Able to train team members in the use of the CMMS System Expert in the Work Order System Work order flow, creation to closing Search functions, equipment history, work order assignments, parts Plan and schedule all predictive/preventive work orders PM Generation, scheduling, and assigning Evaluate PM/PDM task effectiveness Update PM/PDM tasks and frequencies, to include special tools, parts, and supplies required Kit parts and supplies for the job Plan and Schedule all Non-emergency corrective work Create a job plan for all corrective work to include: Parts and supplies Labor resources Special tools and/or skill requirements Order parts and supplies as required Kit all parts and supplies, schedule and assign work Audit job plans when complete and make adjustments Manage the Work Order Back Log and make necessary changes to maximize resources and take advantage of scheduled downtime Performs equipment failure analysis and recommends changes to improve reliability Audit completed work orders and PMs for completion and quality of work Other Responsibilities: Identify additional spare part needs and stocking levels through work order audits Manage all Contractor provided services and inspections Schedule services and inspections Ensure Contractor Training was completed with Security team Execute pre-start safety meetings Perform safety and quality audits during activities Follow-up with contractor recommendations and concerns Participates in all Plant Planning/scheduling meetings Participates in shift turnover meetings, adjust schedule to insure good communication Performs customer (production) follow ups to ensure expectations are being met Assist with Skill development within the department Other Tasks as needed Plant Interactions: Maintenance Team and Resource Leaders Production Team and Resource Leaders Plant and Maintenance Scheduler Engineering MRO and Parts/Inventory staff Quality team Safety team Shipping and receiving Others as required

Requirements

  • Preferred 3 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance setting.
  • Previous floor experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred but not required.
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors is needed.
  • Working knowledge of a CMMS program preferred EAM and/or MVP 1 experience.
  • Understands how to identify parts by drawings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and pivot in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous floor experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of a CMMS program preferred EAM and/or MVP 1 experience.
