About The Position

You’ll be part of a talented team supporting our distribution center and office facilities. You will use mechanical, electrical, and vehicle maintenance skills to repair, maintain and troubleshoot: Conveyor systems Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Electrical distribution equipment HVAC systems Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Vehicle fleet (e.g., forklift, reach truck, order picker) You’ll also support general facility upkeep. Ultimately, you’ll do what is needed to keep the facility up and running, allowing our teams to focus on getting products to customers accurately and quickly. We are currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift roles. These positions may involve variable schedules, including swing shifts based on business needs, so flexibility in scheduling is required. We’re looking for dependable team players who prioritize and communicate well, take pride in their work, and can also work well independently. You should have 5+ years of maintenance experience, with a strong foundation of mechanical, electrical, and technical skills, including:

Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, with a strong foundation of mechanical, electrical, and technical skills
  • Experience with hand tools, small gearbox maintenance, and diagnosis of gear and belt drive systems
  • Familiarity with centrifugal pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read electrical prints and use a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Experience diagnosing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and understanding digital inputs and outputs
  • Experience with vehicle repair and maintenance to address intermittent issues, guidance-related malfunctions or codes, steering issues.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with highly automated packaging, sortation, or carton closeout machines
  • Mechanical skills - welding, machining, fabrication, operating a Lathe, Bridgeport, MIG and/or TIG welder, or Sheet Metal Brake, moving and setting equipment, moving conveyors, maintaining
  • HVAC or fire suppression systems
  • Electrical skills – Arc Flash protocols, programming VFDs
  • Programming/technical skills – programming Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC code, experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
