About The Position

The Maintenance Team Lead performs industrial manufacturing mechanical system work to include layout, relocation, installation, maintenance and repair of facilities, building mechanical systems, machinery and equipment. This candidate will also be responsible for delegating daily responsibilities, coordinating contractors, logging and tracking maintenance reports, and overseeing general operations across the shop floor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years industrial/facilities maintenance experience and knowledge.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of facility (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical college certification in industrial/facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge in PLC, circuitry and programing.
  • Military mechanical repair experience or equivalent.
  • Firm knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to assist with vendor/contractor management processes
  • Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning machines, equipment, and small tools/parts.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation. Makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Performs building maintenance, such as painting and carpentry.
  • Assists in maintaining in-house wastewater treatment facility.
  • Operates various industrial vehicles used in material/machine moving.
  • Assists in installation and relocation involving machines and equipment
  • Performs simple electrical maintenance activities
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area, adheres to all facility environmental, health & safety guidelines, encourages communication and participates with co-workers to further identify, reduce and eliminate potential hazards.
  • Trains new team members
  • Purchases replacement & preventative maintenance parts
  • Assists with Regulatory Compliance
  • Performs other related tasks and assignments, as necessary
