About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting and maintaining various plant systems and equipment (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.) The Maintenance Technician performs routine plant inspection and document results, as well as troubleshoots systems/equipment and makes necessary repairs.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• A Driver’s License is required
• 2-3 years of Industrial or Commercial experience is required

Nice To Haves

• One year certification from a college or technical school is preferred
• Industrial Electric experience is preferred
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred

Responsibilities

• Planned inspections (frequency varies depending upon equipment)
• Direct production work
• Develop new vendors, establish scope of work and obtain vendor pricing
• Perform Daily/Monthly safety inspections
• Conduct efficient repair response to minimize equipment downtime
