Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms. Participates in CIT teams as necessary. Requirements

• PLEASE NOTE: This Position Requires Completion of ARRT (R) or NMTCB Certification within 1 yr. after graduation.
• CANDIDATES WHO ARE SELECTED FOR THE POSITION MUST SIGN AN AGREEMENT TO OBTAIN THIS CREDENTIAL

Responsibilities

• Maintains established policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance, quality control, safety and MQSA standards.
• Prepares written documentation as required by profession and department; maintains follow up care on post biopsy patients and post surgical patients.
• Performs radiographic examinations and all mammography examinations (e.g. screening, diagnostic, localization s, biopsies).
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and maintains clean and orderly area.
• Develops films including evaluating film for tech quality.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
• Attends meetings as required
