Introduction The Division of Parks and Recreation is a two-time National Gold Medal Award winner for best managed state park system in the country. The Division oversees more than 27,000 acres in 17 state parks, the Brandywine Zoo and the Indian River Marina. The Division manages 10 state nature preserves, and 12 other sites outside of the parks and monitors over 100 conservation easements protecting more than 4,000 acres of land. The Division protects cultural and historic resources and provides a wide variety of recreational facilities for Delawareans and visitors. Summary Statement This position supports the Office of Business Services by analyzing revenues and expenditures for Delaware State Parks’ $20M operating budget. The position will use data from multiple sources to build detailed Excel reports and create clear, user-friendly presentations for both internal and external audiences. The role involves analyzing campground reservation and point-of-sale data to identify trends in sales, occupancy, and consumer behavior, prepare executive-level reports, interpret contracts and agreements, forecast performance, and provide data-driven recommendations to support park business operations.
