The Management Analyst V reports to the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Administration and Finance and performs highly advanced (senior-level) analytical and coordination work for the Administration and Finance division. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing administrative and financial activities that ensure compliance with mandates and agency goals. Work involves communication orally and in writing for an executive audience, and coordinating divisional, cross-divisional, and intra-agency assignments, developing strategies to improve efficiency through automation and continuous process improvement. The position also manages operating plans, facilitates reviews, coordinates assignments and oversees the projects that support the goals of the Administration and Finance division. Additionally, the position performs other functions, assignments, and duties commensurate with a Management Analyst V in support of the Administration and Finance senior directors, including analysis, evaluations, projects and process improvement efforts, and responding to inquiries on behalf of the Deputy Chief Information Officer. Work includes interpreting federal regulations, State statutes, administrative rules, and legislative bills, assessing fiscal and operational impacts and develop solutions for complex issues. Work involves managing multiple competing priorities, tracking assignments, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables under strict deadlines. The role requires independent judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with internal and external stakeholders. Works under minimal supervision with latitude for initiative and independent decision-making.
