About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Provides financial support to venues. Maintains standard financial reports and guides management in the development of annual budgets. Supervises and provides work direction to Cost Analyst. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Tracks costs, researches financial variances, provides explanations and recommends solutions to management. Prepares cost estimates and analyses for special projects and makes recommendations regarding operational decisions relative to those projects. Executes month-end close journal entries, processes and balances sheet account reconciliations within required deadlines. Prepares financial reports that both summarize and detail the performance of venues. Guides the operating division management in the development of annual operating budgets. Supervises Cost Analyst by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management. Ensures Cost Analyst is meeting all objectives and accountabilities. Performs job responsibilities as well as other duties as assigned within multiple systems (GL, POS, Budget, Purchasing, Inventory, etc.). Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business required.
  • 3+ years of cost accounting, financial analysis or business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
