Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Manager Customer Marketing to join our team located at our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Tactical Function: Act as key interface amongst sales, marketing, supply chain and operations to deliver forecast accuracy and efficient utilization of production resources for all customers Responsible for consumption & shipment modeling for implementation into volume forecasting process Analyze and report conditions occurring within the marketplace using IRI or ACNielsen syndicated data and information sourced both internally and externally Provide direction, & support from an analytics standpoint to field sales managers in the implementation of promotional programs for retail customers Execute and monitor funding requests from field sales based on business plan and approved budget levels Provide direction and answers to questions from Marketing, Finance or Supply Chain groups as it relates to the trade program and field sales matters Provide form completion support for Field sales with new item forms and own brand bid paperwork completion You will love it here if… You put safety first, always. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in related field
  • 3+ years of sales/sales analytics experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry, preferably including trade management, key account management, and/or field sales responsibility
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams
  • Knowledge and application of syndicated data, as well as the ability to incorporate financial measures in assessing results
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution
  • Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures used in the consumer products industry
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines
  • Ability to travel on an overnight basis

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  • Experience with consumption data models that support volume forecasts and price elasticities are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Customer Marketing Directors & Managers in leading, & analyzing point of sale and shipment data to drive growth
  • Provide analytical support to improve volume forecasting analytics to improve volume forecast accuracy and deliver financial targets
  • Lead and excute customer event analytics to optimize trade spending efficiency, achieve BU Trade Optimization goals and deliver revenue and share growth
  • Assist Customer Marketing Directors & Managers to optimize portfolio spend against customer and product portfolio to drive optimal efficiency of trade spending through customer and product prioritization
