About The Position

The Manager, Employee Experience is responsible for setting enterprise direction for how Envision approaches engagement, connection, and belonging through intentional experiences that support leaders and teammates across the organization. This role translates business, brand, and talent priorities into a coherent engagement and experience strategy that strengthens leadership alignment, reinforces culture, and improves how teammates experience Envision. Operating in a complex healthcare environment where engagement work must demonstrate real impact, this role ensures engagement and experience efforts are focused, purposeful, and aligned to leadership expectations and operational realities. The Manager brings together engagement, listening, belonging, and enterprise experiences into a cohesive approach that supports the business and drives lasting impact. Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise engagement, experience, or organizational effectiveness work in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong judgment and ability to balance strategic intent with operational reality.
  • Experience designing leadership or enterprise experiences/events that drive connection, alignment, and strengthen culture.
  • Comfort operating in environments where engagement work must earn credibility and demonstrate value.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and integration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in engagement, organizational effectiveness, leadership programs, or related fields.
  • Experience designing and delivering engagement or experience strategies in complex, matrixed organizations, preferably within healthcare, provider services, or similarly regulated, operational environments.
  • Hands-on experience designing and stewarding enterprise listening strategies, including surveys, qualitative feedback, and synthesis of insights into focused, actionable priorities.
  • Background partnering with brand, communications, or culture teams to ensure enterprise experiences reflect organizational identity, values, and strategic intent.
  • Experience creating scaled, sustainable experiences that work across diverse populations, including frontline or clinical teams and indirect patient care functions.
  • Strong pattern-recognition skills, with the ability to identify themes across data sources and recommend where leaders should focus for the greatest impact.

Responsibilities

  • Sets enterprise direction for engagement and experience strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, leadership expectations, and the realities of a complex healthcare environment.
  • Defines and oversees a portfolio of signature enterprise and leadership experiences and signature events that strengthen connection, alignment, and leadership community.
  • Defines and leads the enterprise listening strategy including surveys and feedback channels, ensuring insights are translated into meaningful actions that strengthen engagement, culture and the overall teammate experience.
  • Designs and evolve recognition programs that highlight behaviors aligned with organizational values and celebrate milestones and moments that strengthen connection, appreciation and culture
  • Partners with clinical and enterprise leaders to ensure engagement and experience efforts reflect business needs, constraints, and operating context.
  • Brings together engagement, listening, belonging, and experience efforts into a cohesive approach that shape the teammate experience.
  • Translates organizational priorities and listening insights into clear focus areas that guide where time and energy are invested.
  • Establishes priorities and success measures to ensure engagement and experience efforts remain focused, credible, and aligned to business realities.
  • Collaborates with Talent Management, Leadership Development, Communications, and Strategy partners to ensure consistency and reinforcement across enterprise initiatives.
  • Provides strategic direction and guardrails for engagement and belonging initiatives executed by senior individual contributors and program partners.
  • Continuously assesses and refines engagement strategy and experience investments to ensure relevance, scalability, and sustained impact
  • Leads employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports.
