The Commercial Bank (CML) HR Business Partner team is hiring a Manager to support key HR priorities within our Product and Treasury Management organization. The Manager plays a critical role in delivering people initiatives and talent strategy. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong relationship building, influencing, communication, and problem solving skills; who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative, and values-oriented team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of client facing experience or consulting experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources
  • At least 2 years of experience in project or process management

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’s Degree
  • Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification
  • 6+ years of client facing experience or 6+ years of consulting experience or a combination
  • 4+ years of experience in in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups (People Analytics, Recruiting, Compensation, Associate Relations, etc.) to effectively execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
  • Partner with clients to build effective relationships, manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs
  • Proactively explore, pilot, and integrate emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of core HR processes and talent strategies
  • Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, change management, and organizational design
  • Develop walk-around decks, communications, data analysis, and training materials to be used in preparing managers and associates; may include facilitator or “train the trainer” sessions
  • Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills (leveraging Capital One’s Include/Empower/Inspire framework), organizational design, and performance concerns
