About The Position

Position Summary: Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Supervisor acts as an ambassador on the floor and provides guests with welcoming and attentive care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age required which expectation to mix and serve alcohol.
  • Minimum of 2 years Food Service experience required, preferably server/bartender; 1 year of previous Supervisory/Management experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, coworkers, and management to their understanding is required.
  • Must work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. across short-medium distances.
  • Must be able to stand for the entirety of the shift.
  • Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, lift, and carry trays, boxes, dishes, glassware, etc. as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree, or equivalent life experience in a supervisory role, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years Server/Bartender experience preferred.
  • Point of Sales system (InfoGenesis or other) experience preferred.
  • Must be able to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic understanding/knowledge of business financials is preferred.

  • Must be able to organize, communicate, and lead the team through a successful shift.
  • Ensure each employee follows established side work guidelines to exact specifications.
  • Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Properly follow all processes that are in place as well as all rules and regulations in the employee handbook.
  • Properly rotate all food and drink products in stock.
  • Clean and maintain equipment properly.
  • Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation / health regulations and resort requirements.
  • Ensure all guest special requests are met.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the team.
  • Must be able to perform well under pressure during high volume shifts.
  • Communicate effectively with front of house staff members, management, and kitchen during service.
  • Assist in conducting/leading staff and daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Follow and support service commitment and core values.
  • Assist in training and development of staff’s knowledge pertaining to food and beverage.
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize, delegate work, and follow through with assigned tasks.
  • Always be a clear thinker, remain calm, and resolve problems using good judgment, sometimes in an intense work environment.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Responsible for keeping a clean, neat, and organized work space.
  • Responsible for motivating staff and maintaining a cohesive team.
  • Must be able to direct performance of staff and follow up with corrections when needed.
  • Use all senses to ensure quality standards are met at all times.
  • Uphold the core values, policies, and procedures of the resort.
  • Responsible for handling accuracy of money during transactions.
  • Can professionally communicate with guests when conflicts occur or expectations were not met, providing solutions to improve the guest’s experience.
  • Maintain positive relationships with wine, beer, and liquor representatives.
  • Demonstrate eagerness to continue to learn and develop.
  • All other duties as assigned.
