About The Position

At Insight our sales teams are key to our overall success and as the Inside Sales Manager of one of our Small to Medium Business (SMB) teams, you will be an integral part of our and your own success. You will oversee a team of Account Executives consulting with clients and selling Insight’s products and services within a given sales market. You will provide your team guidance and show them the best practices to help them be a winning team.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of success in B2B sales with experience managing accounts or supporting those who do.
  • Must possess strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce results is critical.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred in business or a comparable field..

Responsibilities

  • Manage. You are responsible for a team of professionals and you will provide the direction, coordination, and evaluation within the business segment you are responsible for. You will need to focus on implementing organizational objectives, policies, and values. You’ll find the best talent to hire and then train them. Rewarding great performance and recognizing outstanding work will be necessary for business continuity.
  • Grow. Contribute to the continued growth of Insight by consistently achieving sales goals, finding creative ways to grow market share and execute strategic forecasting and budget associated with sales activities. Analyze your achievements and constantly be eager to identify prospective clients.
  • Communicate. Keep open communication channels with top clients, sales management and your team of Account Executives regarding sales leads, market challenges, and competitive activity. The best part is you will build lasting relationships with clients, vendors and key partners.
  • Coach. Provide hands-on coaching, counseling, and training to your team. Partner up with the inside and outside sales reps within our extensive partner community to actively pursue new business, follow up and help close deals. Find a balance between tactical and strategic approaches knowing you are empowered to coach your team how you see fit.
