Beyond restoring teeth, this is about people getting their lives back. ClearChoice Management Services, LLC (CCMS) provides administrative practice management services to the ClearChoice network. ClearChoice is seeking a Manager, Functional Communications to support internal communications for corporate and support functions, including HR, Marketing, IT, Finance, and other shared services. This role serves as a hands-on communications partner, helping functional teams plan, develop, and deliver clear, coordinated messaging to employees across the organization. The Manager will work closely with functional leaders and project teams to understand priorities and upcoming initiatives, translate those into effective communication plans, and ensure messages are aligned with enterprise goals and field realities. This role balances planning and execution and plays a key role in helping corporate initiatives land clearly with employees.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience supporting HR, IT, Marketing, or other corporate functions preferred.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, employee-friendly messaging.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, system rollouts, or program launches.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Experience communicating with diverse employee audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with basic video editing and design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
  • Healthcare or multi-site experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal communications partner for HR, Marketing, IT, Finance, and other corporate support functions.
  • Partner with functional leaders and project teams to understand business priorities, timelines, and communication needs.
  • Develop and execute internal communication plans for functional initiatives, including launches, updates, and change-related communications.
  • Draft and edit employee-facing communications, ensuring messages are clear, accurate, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Manage communication timelines, review cycles, and approvals with stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on messaging, channels, and timing to improve clarity, adoption, and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager, Field & Center Communications to ensure corporate initiatives align with field and center realities.
  • Work with the Internal Communications Specialist to coordinate drafting, scheduling, and distribution of communications.
  • Support enterprise-wide communications initiatives as needed, including leadership updates, campaigns, and special projects.
  • Track feedback and questions from employees and flag themes or gaps to IC leadership.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements to IC processes, templates, and tools.
