About The Position

Darigold is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Manager of Business Process Optimization to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our critical business projects are managed efficiently and that our new technical features are designed with a human-centered approach. Over the last year, the addition of the Business Process Optimization team has transformed Darigold’s IT ecosystem: delivering order and flow into the development team’s working environment. As we look forward to FY2027 and the many projects that Darigold will take on, it will be important to expand the capacity of this important group. Darigold is the fifth largest dairy cooperative in the United States based on milk volume and one of the largest privately held organizations headquartered in the state of Washington. Since 1918, our producers have taken pride in producing dairy products with unsurpassed quality. Today, we are one of the nation's largest agricultural cooperatives, producing over 8.5 billion pounds of milk every year. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or in a related area.
  • At least 5 years of experience in one of the following: Project Management, Business Analysis, IT Development or Corporate FP&A.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word to communicate requirements.
  • Proficiency with workflow tools like Jira or Microsoft DevOps.
  • Ability to develop wireframes and frame technical work-in-process as minimum viable product and ability to provide feedback as a business user or seek feedback from business users.
  • Ability to act as a “Swiss army knife” switching seamlessly between priorities and between Darigold’s business and technical organizations.
  • Comfort with a workplace predicated on radical candor (personal care and direct challenges) that will enable rapid personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Process Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in Darigold's business processes, proficient in translating business needs into technical solutions and vice versa, working alongside our people in understanding and leveraging our technology tools to execute our daily work.
  • Human-Centered Design: Leverage process expertise and technical expertise to help design technical solutions that work for our internal customers, enabling continual improvement and elevation of our teams’ daily work.
  • Process Documentation and Process Improvement: Document critical business processes and identify areas for improvement, implement process changes and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Project Management and Business Analysis: Take an active leadership role in Darigold’s most critical business projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery, taking an outcome-oriented mindset focused on the key objectives of the organization.

  • Compensation range: $99,548.46 - $149,322.69 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge and skills)
