JOB DESCRIPTION: The Intercompany Accounting Manager reports into the Sr. Director – Corporate Accounting, this position is responsible for performing the global intercompany accounting processes, ensuring accurate accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions, and managing US GAAP and some statutory accounting for international subsidiaries and holding entities. This newly-created role plays a critical part in monthly closing and consolidation procedures, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, transfer pricing and management fee policies, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls. How you will Own it : Intercompany Accounting & Close Create processes to perform all intercompany accounting activities, including intercompany billing, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations across global entities Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany close processes Resolve intercompany imbalances and disputes in collaboration with segment and corporate accounting teams Create and enforce intercompany accounting policies, procedures, and governance Support consolidation and elimination entries for global financial reporting International Subsidiary & Holding Company Accounting Perform all accounting for international subsidiaries and holding companies, including general ledger oversight and review Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements (leveraging third parties as needed to perform annual statutory financial reporting requirements and audits) Oversee accounting for dividends, capital contributions, intercompany loans, equity transactions, and restructuring activities Coordinate with external advisors and local teams on statutory reporting, audits, and filings Monitor foreign currency accounting, including remeasurement and translation Controls, Compliance & Audit Ensure strong internal controls over intercompany and subsidiary accounting processes Support internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and resolution of audit findings Partner with Tax to ensure alignment with transfer pricing policies and documentation Identify and mitigate accounting and operational risks across global entities Process Improvement & Systems Drive standardization and automation of intercompany and subsidiary accounting processes Partner with systems teams on ERP and EPM design, enhancements, and global rollouts Develop scalable processes to support acquisitions, restructurings, and geographic expansion as applicable Document and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and close calendars Leadership & Collaboration Act as a subject‑matter expert for intercompany and global entity accounting Collaborate cross‑functionally with Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and regional finance leaders Provide clear guidance and training to global teams on accounting policies and expectations What you’ll Bring: COMPETENCIES are classified as the work habits, attitudes, personal characteristics, and behaviors that reflect how a person accomplishes the duties and responsibilities of their job.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required – Accounting
  • U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls/SOX required
  • CPA required
  • Public company experience required
  • Public Accounting experience required
  • 5+ years' experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-currency and international company experience preferred
  • Strong U.S. GAAP and SOX working knowledge
  • Historical success with performing high quality accounting processes, including policy creation and streamlining work
  • Experience with consolidations in a multi-location organization

Responsibilities

  • Create processes to perform all intercompany accounting activities, including intercompany billing, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations across global entities
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany close processes
  • Resolve intercompany imbalances and disputes in collaboration with segment and corporate accounting teams
  • Create and enforce intercompany accounting policies, procedures, and governance
  • Support consolidation and elimination entries for global financial reporting
  • Perform all accounting for international subsidiaries and holding companies, including general ledger oversight and review
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements (leveraging third parties as needed to perform annual statutory financial reporting requirements and audits)
  • Oversee accounting for dividends, capital contributions, intercompany loans, equity transactions, and restructuring activities
  • Coordinate with external advisors and local teams on statutory reporting, audits, and filings
  • Monitor foreign currency accounting, including remeasurement and translation
  • Ensure strong internal controls over intercompany and subsidiary accounting processes
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and resolution of audit findings
  • Partner with Tax to ensure alignment with transfer pricing policies and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate accounting and operational risks across global entities
  • Drive standardization and automation of intercompany and subsidiary accounting processes
  • Partner with systems teams on ERP and EPM design, enhancements, and global rollouts
  • Develop scalable processes to support acquisitions, restructurings, and geographic expansion as applicable
  • Document and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and close calendars
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for intercompany and global entity accounting
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and regional finance leaders
