About The Position
The Manager of Surgical Services will direct the effective delivery of clinical care, maintain standards of nursing practice, and foster an interdisciplinary team approach to ensure patient progress and successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of recent (within the last year) Acute Care OR leadership experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities
- Oversee department functions 24/7, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accrediting requirements.
- Develop and implement programs to monitor and enhance nursing care quality and patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, patients, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless treatment plans and efficient patient throughput.
- Maintain appropriate equipment and supplies to support high-quality surgical services.
- Participate in rounding and foster a quiet, healing environment to positively impact patient satisfaction.
