About The Position

DEFINITION: Lead and manage the system-wide implementation of the Teacher Professional Growth System (TPGS) in collaboration with the Department of Staff Relations and leaders in the Department of Employee Training and Development.  Develop, design, and deliver effective professional development and related training for employees. Work collaboratively with multiple divisions to ensure training matches the needs of adult learners.  Develop, implement, and manage the training initiatives for all impacted by the TPGS. Support the system-wide goals and priorities in the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) strategic plan. Performs other duties as assigned. This is a one-year grant funded position. As such, employees will be required to sign an acknowledgement form with the understanding that if the grant is not funded beyond the current year, you will be reassigned to a position based upon the stipulations within the appropriate Master Agreement that is in effect at the time of the reassignment.
