Managing Director – Large Corporate Banking / Senior Relationship Manager Location: Miami, FL Level: Managing Director or Senior Director Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Significant Production Based Incentives Overview A well capitalized and growth oriented financial institution in South Florida is expanding its Large Corporate Banking platform and is seeking a senior revenue producing Managing Director to help lead that effort. This is a front office, production driven role focused on originating and managing relationships with large corporate clients requiring sophisticated credit and capital markets solutions. The institution is investing in balance sheet capacity and capital markets capabilities and is looking for a senior banker who can bring meaningful relationships and build a durable, repeatable revenue stream. The role is designed for a senior relationship manager who operates at the $100M to $500M+ transaction level and is comfortable advising C suite executives on complex financing structures. Role Focus The Managing Director will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with large corporate clients across multiple industries. The banker will originate significant credit facilities and identify opportunities to deliver broader capital markets and treasury solutions. This is not a portfolio maintenance role. The expectation is new client acquisition, meaningful production, and consistent fee generation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of large corporate banking or senior relationship management experience
  • Demonstrated history of originating and closing $100M+ corporate credit facilities
  • Established C suite relationships within large private or public corporations
  • Proven record of annual revenue production and loan growth
  • Strong understanding of capital structure, credit markets, and balance sheet lending
  • Ability to operate independently and generate new business
  • High credibility with both clients and internal risk stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Originate senior secured and structured credit facilities in the $100M to $500M+ range
  • Develop new relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, and senior finance executives
  • Expand wallet share across existing relationships
  • Identify and execute cross sell opportunities across treasury services, structured finance, and capital markets products
  • Structure and negotiate complex credit transactions in partnership with credit and risk teams
  • Drive loan growth, fee income, and long term client portfolio profitability
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of large corporate opportunities
  • Act as a senior representative of the institution within the South Florida corporate market
