Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person in Brenham, TX

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Software Engineering, Mechatronics and MMET
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship or related work experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations teams to proactively investigate, contain, and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance with established standards and minimizing production disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying advanced statistical techniques to analyze processes and implement product enhancements that optimize efficiency and reduce variability.
  • Troubleshoot and stabilize manufacturing processes that are out of control, leveraging root cause analysis and corrective measures to restore operational integrity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Designers/Drafters to define tooling and fixturing requirements, and lead projects focused on tooling optimization and innovation.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Design Engineering to evaluate and disposition discrepant parts and assemblies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
  • Lead and execute small to medium-scale capital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, budget constraints, and timeline requirements.
  • Apply deep expertise in manufacturing processes within your area of responsibility to influence decision-making, enhance production capabilities, and support organizational growth.
