About The Position

If you are an Engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you as a Manufacturing Intern! Based in our Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie MN location, you will work within a team that provides support and development of solutions for our manufacturing production operations to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost position. This individual will work closely with the team and other functional groups to deploy solutions to better serve our internal and external customers. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Apply technical expertise in the production of products. Select, design or recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment. Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and costs. Recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs. Solve production problems and improve process capabilities. Participate in the presentation of test results and design reviews. Interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers. Participate in the administration of technical procedures. Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations. Support capacity model and lean initiatives. May participate in lean six sigma improvement teams. May interact with teammates in numerous global locations Who You Are: You identify and drive continuous improvements. Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
