About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate for the Production, Planning, and Control Team. Our team is responsible for coordinating inter‑departmental activity and scheduling the movement of parts to ensure timely and efficient production. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Planner Associate you will be responsible for orchestrating the flow of materials across multiple functions, keeping the production line moving and the schedule on track. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Coordinate inter‑departmental activity across quality, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration. Schedule and expedite part movement via move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests. Travel to and communicate with production sites and vendor locations to ensure alignment. Analyze and resolve production scheduling issues, maintaining on‑time delivery. Identify and implement process improvements that boost efficiency and productivity. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
  • Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
  • Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
  • Black Belt/Green belt trained / certified
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
