Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Experience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have an ability to multitask, meet deadlines and handle stress in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensures ongoing safety training for all shop employees
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to link operational (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational efficiency
  • Additionally, perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members.
  • Along with Operations Manager, leads personnel in a professional manner, aligned with CMC's Guiding Principals
  • Daily communication with Shift Leads and Production Operators/ Material Handlers to identify opportunities, issues, and concerns
  • Demonstrate leadership by driving initiatives, influencing outcomes, and fostering accountability
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, employee productivity, uptime improvements, and lead time reductions
  • Maintain and turn in all daily and monthly reports required by management
