About The Position

Marina Attendant, Cedar Shore Resort, Oacoma, SD Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide friendly customer service to marina visitors. Handle cash and credit card transactions for rentals, sales, and services. Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning C-Store, pontoons, docks and surrounding areas as needed. Empty trash and ensure proper disposal. Clean pontoons after each rental to ensure they are ready for the next customer. Fuel and service pontoons after each rental to ensure they are ready for the next customer. Perform weekly maintenance and service on pontoons and motors. Schedule pontoon and boat slip rentals and keep accurate records. Utilize basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication. Ensure that live bait is fresh and properly cared for. Be available to work a flexible schedule that can include mornings, evenings, weekends, and Holiday shifts during the summer season. Requirements

  • Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
  • Attention to cleanliness and detail.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid driver ’ s license.
  • Flexibility in work hours.
  • Must be 18 years old or older in order to sell alcohol and tobacco products
