About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marina Service Technician to join our team in Riverview, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of boats and marine equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation for our customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in marine technology preferred.
• Proven experience as a marine technician or in a similar mechanical role.
• Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and boat maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boats, engines, trailers, and related marine equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Assist customers by providing technical advice and answering questions related to boat maintenance and operation.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Keep the service area clean, organized, and safe.
