We are seeking a technically credible commercial leader to drive growth within the Test & Measurement (T&M) segment for our relay and socket portfolio. What You’ll Do The Market Development Manager will identify and penetrate new customers, expand strategic accounts, and create qualified opportunities within key T&M platforms such as semiconductor test, automated test equipment (ATE), instrumentation, and related applications. This role combines technical understanding of test architectures with commercial drive to build relationships with engineering and business stakeholders. The position works closely with Regional Sales Managers, Field Application Engineers, Product Management, and Marketing to convert technical opportunities into sustained revenue growth. While the primary focus is the Test & Measurement segment, this role may expand to support growth in additional markets over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in Test & Measurement, semiconductor test, electronic instrumentation, or related technical markets.
  • Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or market development roles.
  • Strong understanding of test architectures and electronic switching applications.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with engineering teams and translate technical needs into commercial opportunities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop high-value Test & Measurement customers, platforms, and applications where relay and socket solutions provide differentiated value.
  • Proactively penetrate new accounts by engaging engineering, design, and procurement teams.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow relay content within priority customers.
  • Create and drive qualified opportunities within new and existing accounts.
  • Engage with customer engineering teams to understand test architectures, switching requirements, and system constraints.
  • Translate customer application requirements into viable relay and socket solutions.
  • Establish credibility with technical stakeholders and influence early-stage design decisions.
  • Work closely with Field Application Engineers to validate technical solutions and support customer evaluations.
  • Drive opportunity progression across the sales funnel in partnership with Regional Sales Managers.
  • Develop account growth plans and support revenue forecasting for strategic opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal resources to support customer engagement and opportunity development.
  • Expand relay presence within target customers through multi-program and multi-platform penetration.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to communicate customer needs and application insights.
  • Provide market feedback that informs future relay and socket product development.
  • Work with Marketing to support segment positioning, messaging, and industry engagement.
  • Monitor trends in semiconductor test, automated test equipment, instrumentation, and related markets.
  • Evaluate competitive solutions and identify opportunities to strengthen relay positioning in key applications.
  • Identify emerging technologies or system architectures that create new relay opportunities.
