Marketing & Business Intake Coordinator
About The Position
Zelle LLP is an international litigation law firm with offices across the United States and in London. We specialize in complex insurance disputes and litigation matters. The coordinator will support the firm in all its marketing and business development initiatives. They will work primarily on initiatives supporting Zelle’s insurance practice, and prior experience in the first-party insurance industry is preferred. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Coordinator will also work closely with attorneys and staff across the firm’s 10 offices. The position will be based in Zelle’s Dallas office.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience required.
- The position requires a minimum of 2-4 years of marketing or business development experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Sound judgment with respect to confidential and sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and drive to provide superior client service.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while managing time efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem solving, organizational and project management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in the first-party insurance industry is preferred.
- Legal marketing or other professional services experience is preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and legal research tools preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize technology tools and resources, including Lexis/Nexis and Westlaw.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with online and in-person events, including development of invitations, registration, and logistical support.
- Utilizing Constant Contact or other e-mail distribution channel for content marketing and event registration.
- Managing and updating content on the firm’s website, including biographies, news, and practice descriptions.
- Assisting attorneys with the development of presentations, including proofreading and formatting.
- Assisting with submission of articles for external publication.
- Creating social media posts for selective firm news.
- Collecting and coordinating data for practice group submissions to Chambers and other rankings/awards submissions.
- Assisting with editing and production of attorney articles, newsletters, and other communications.
- Assisting with capturing, tracking, and updating representative firm experience.
- Assisting with capturing, tracking, and updating firm marketing activities.
- Assisting with development of content and marketing collateral.
- Fulfilling collateral requests for sponsorships and attorney speaking engagements.
- Supporting attorney efforts in assembling data and collateral materials for pitches and RFPs.
- Representing Zelle at selected insurance industry events.
- Conducting research on clients, prospects, industries, conferences, speaking opportunities and membership organizations to inform business development strategies.
- Entering and maintaining data and contacts in firm’s CRM system.
- Maintaining Marketing intranet site and repository of relevant business development information.
- Assisting with inventory of Zelle promotional items.
- Assisting with firmwide and group special projects, as needed.
