About The Position
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Intern (Summer 2026) to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Pass and Seymour Team in Syracuse, NY. The Marketing Communications Intern will support the marketing and sales teams by assisting with day-to-day marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on social media and influencer program coordination. This role offers hands-on experience in content planning, execution, and performance tracking within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Individuals considered for this position should be actively pursuing, or be a recent graduate of, a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or similar field of study.
- Thorough knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Support management of social media channels, including content calendars, post scheduling, community monitoring, and message routing.
- Track and report on social media performance, engagement, and basic analytics to support ongoing optimization efforts.
- Support the marketing team by researching emerging social media trends, competitive content, and industry best practices, and sharing insights to support content and campaign development.
- Assist with influencer program coordination, including tracking collaborators, organizing deliverables, and supporting product sample fulfillment.
- Maintain organized records of influencer activity, content usage, and communications.
- Assist with tracking marketing literature and display inventory, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating orders, and helping ensure materials are available to support sales needs.
- Provides project support (i.e. new product launches, marketing campaigns, etc…) as needed.
- Assists with preparing materials for customer shows.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support evolving marketing priorities.
