About The Position

RIOS is a global design collective working to create destinations that spark wonder. We practice multidisciplinary design across architecture, landscape architecture, interiors, experience design, and master planning to define design as a continuum. Our marketing team plays a crucial role in sharing our vision and work with the world. Through thoughtful storytelling, strategic communications, and creative content development, we showcase how our interdisciplinary practice brings about inclusive, resilient, and original solutions. RIOS is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our Marketing and Communications team in organizing and developing content for our global portfolio. The intern will play a role in collecting, organizing, and updating project assets for the RIOS website while gaining exposure to marketing processes and cross-studio collaboration across our six global offices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Interest in learning about design processes and visual storytelling
  • A strong interest in architecture, design, and the built environment, as well as an understanding of design principles and aesthetic sensibility.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and curiosity, able to take initiative and go above and beyond tasks given
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams and disciplines
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

  • Help collect, organize, and maintain project assets (renderings, photography, narratives) across RIOS’ portfolio
  • Assist with gathering visual and written content from studio teams for the RIOS website and marketing materials
  • Support writing and editing project descriptions that clearly communicate design concepts and outcomes ensuring consistency in brand voice and visual presentation
  • Support content organization, image optimization, and uploading for web and digital platforms
  • Maintain organized asset libraries and assist with content management systems
  • Support the preparation of materials for design award submissions and presentations
  • Collaborate with designers and marketing team members to help translate design work for digital and branded use
  • Conduct research on current industry trends and analyze competitor activities to provide actionable insights that support marketing strategies
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and day-to-day marketing tasks
