Lead Supervisor - Brownstown Complex supporting Sheetmetal, Distribution and HCC operations. The candidate will join a face paced team working to support Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost and Delivery metrics while developing an in depth understanding of the FCSD Distribution Network. Safety First: Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance Driving Operational Excellence: Lead and direct a team of employees across various warehouse functions, including Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping, ensuring the team consistently ships high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets. You will take ownership of team performance, addressing shortcomings proactively and celebrating successes. Strategic Focus & Problem Solving: Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency. You will apply for a "Bias for Action," promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems. This includes identifying and analyzing problems, developing and implementing effective solutions, making timely and well-informed decisions, and adapting to changing circumstances. Team Leadership & Development: Embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high performance, winning teams and investing in their growth. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and insights to slash downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality. This includes meticulously tracking and reporting employee time and attendance, transforming raw data into actionable intelligence for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
