About The Position

This role is responsible for the coordination, movement, tracking, and staging of materials and components/parts required for aerospace and spacecraft manufacturing operations. This role ensures production teams have the right materials, parts and tooling at the right time. Implementing best practices to meet quality and safety standards to support the organization’s manufacturing process. This position will play a crucial role in the production process and contribute to the company’s overall performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA). Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years’ warehouse experience, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • 0-2 years’ experience driving trucks and vans
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP and Material Management Systems.
  • Legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Adhere to OSHA, NADCAP, ISO9000 / AS9100, ITAR, FAA regulations and company specific safety standards.
  • Internal Certifications: Forklift, FPV, or others deemed appropriate.
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver’s license with minimal or no points on driving record.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift).
  • Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier weights with assistance.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to manufacturing environments, including moderate noise levels, vibrations, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required, Such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Responsibilities

  • Expedite the movement of materials, components/parts, and tooling to support production schedules.
  • Stage materials and parts at designated workstations in accordance with manufacturing work orders.
  • Track and document the location of materials, tools, and hardware within the facility using inventory management systems.
  • Verify job number, and quantities (Count Parts) to ensure accuracy and traceability.
  • Communicate material shortages or discrepancies to material Supervisor and/or appropriate support team for resolution.
  • Transport materials safely using carts, pallet jacks, forklift or other approved material-handling equipment.
  • Empty scrap material bins and dispose of production waste in accordance with company and environmental regulations.
  • Empty and maintain garbage and recycling bins throughout production areas to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain 5S standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety procedures, FOD (Foreign Object Debris), and aerospace compliance requirements.
  • Load and unload products using proper handling techniques to prevent damage to sensitive or high-value material, parts, and tooling.
  • Safely operate company vehicles (including Forklifts) to transport material, parts, tolling, to and from designated locations.
  • Function as a team member and under minimal supervision.
  • Communicate/Coordinate closely with other departments, including production, planners, schedulers, Procurement and logistics to ensure coordination or organizational activities.
  • Cross-train within materials and logistics functions as assigned.
  • Driver Receive, inspect, and document incoming material and parts verifying purchase order as required.
  • Pack, ship or deliver product, material to suppliers, customers and other Pryer facilities.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Vehicle - maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle(s).
