About The Position

Job Summary: Create and enter mechanical drawings into an electronic system utilizing Computer Aided Design software. Essential Responsibilities/Activities: Creates and revises mechanical drawings for manufacturing. Updates drawings to meet current production requirements. Reads and understands technical manuals, instructions, and criteria. Understands in house programs for drawing create and store. Requirements

• CAD training
• Applicable certification from a Technical/Vocational Training institution.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
• Exhibits good decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
• Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of commonly-used symbols, practices, and procedures within the mechanical field is preferred.
