About The Position

As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our Wilmington branch, supporting engineering and manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop and implement mechanical systems and components. Conducting tests, analyzing data, and preparing reports to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Assisting in the creation of detailed technical drawings and specifications. Supporting the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a mechanical engineering technologist role or similar.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes an asset.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
