About The Position
As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our Wilmington branch, supporting engineering and manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop and implement mechanical systems and components. • Conducting tests, analyzing data, and preparing reports to ensure quality and performance standards are met. • Assisting in the creation of detailed technical drawings and specifications. • Supporting the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems. • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in a mechanical engineering technologist role or similar.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes an asset.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
