NOW HIRING: Medication Assistant / Med Tech Allegro Richmond Heights – St. Louis, MO Looking for a meaningful role where your care, compassion, and clinical skills truly matter?Join the Resident Services team at Allegro Richmond Heights, and help us deliver warm, high-quality care to the seniors who call our community home. Open Positions Part-Time — 1st Shift The Medication Assistant is to provide resident care services including assistance with self-administration of medication, to the residents in the Assisted Living area under the supervision of the Resident Care Director (RCD) according to scheduled duties and assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment.

Requirements

  • Active CNA or NA Certification (in good standing)
  • Medication Training Certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with seniors
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Clear criminal background screening
  • Ability to work in a Drug-Free Workplace
  • Able to approach all encounters with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Experience with electronic documentation systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with self-administration of medications following state guidelines
  • Support daily living tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, positioning, and incontinence care
  • Keep resident areas tidy: bed-making, light housekeeping, and organization
  • Communicate daily with the Resident Services team to maintain continuity of care
  • Participate in resident engagement activities (and lead them when needed)
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and warmth
  • Uphold safety standards throughout the community
  • Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
  • Work closely with and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
  • Participate in resident activities and lead resident activities as needed.
  • Meet customer service standards in a friendly, helpful, courteous manner with resident satisfaction a priority.
