Under general supervision, the Co-Op will be assisting and supporting a Manufacturing Engineer of an assigned Plant with the following duties.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of levels of employees.
• Must have own means of reliable communication.
• Must be able to work onsite in a Mfg. Plant located in either New Bremen, New Knoxville, Minster, Celina, or Troy, Ohio.
• Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Time Studies
• Develop and perform process reviews.
• Review production problems and help Identify a solution.
• Develop, implement, and update documentation.
• Review or modify CAD drawings.
• Work closely with production employees to gather data.
